| OK. I just had to post an entry because I can't believe it still says going to the beach. How sick!
Anyway, here in Massachusettes (did I spell that right?), for Josh and Sarah Jo's big day. Sure to be a hoot of a time.

| Well, I think I'll change my picture to a more summer related one. This was taken when we lived out on Bailey Island at Lands End when we first moved to Maine. Seems like it was yesterday at the same time it feels like we've been here forever.
Beach day Tomorrow!!! Yeahhhhhhhhhhh
That's what I love about maine!

| Hebrews 11:26 speaking of Moses..."He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he (Moses) was looking ahead to the reward. By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king's anger. He perservered because he saw Him who is invisible."
I want to be commended as those giants of faith are in Hebrews 12 for my faith...Moses, Abraham, Sarah...Hebrews 3:6 says we are her daughters (ladies) if we do good and are not afraid)...and I am a daughter of Sarah- pleasing God by trusting Him and doing what He tells me to do, in faith, whether my feelings want to or not  . Not to take the easier, more comfortable route. For in pleasing Him comes my joy, my joy in knowing I am pleasing Him!  James 1:1 tells us to "count it all joy when we fall into various trials knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience." (Therefore these trials are to test our faith)...
Ask yourself today..."Have I lost my joy? Does it seem hard, heavy? Do feel overburdened? Then rethink, relook at what you are carrying/doing. If it is of God it shouldn't be such a heavy burden, because He says that in Matthew 11:29 & 30: "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls (souls here meaning your senses...)For My yoke is easy and My burden light."
Yes we are not to grow weary in doing good as Gal 6:9 tells us (as Pastor taught 2 Sundays ago) We have to keep our eyes on the Goal...Jesus Himself!
